Anyone going to this? Few place left, good price @ £95 open pit on the GT circuit. I'll be there with 3 others in a selection of machinery!

It is a great track, It may not have the name of Silverstone or Donington but I find it a much easier and safer track to drive on. What car are you taking?

Ill be in my 330Ci Sport with two freinds one in an Alfa 147 and the other in a Z4MC. How about you?

I'm really looking forward to trying Bedford, as you say it is safer as less armco to hit (especially in rainy November!).

Nice selection of cars! I'm not too fussed if it is a little bit wet, will save money on new tyres!

There is a happy medium; Jeez, Rockingham last Sunday. PM brighter, but AM, monsoon plus hurricane. Only trackday I've ever been on where the TDO said at the Briefing 'if you all agree, we'll all go home right now and we'll do our best to deliver you all a full refund'.

George, would the SR4 be 82c (CP)?; he and Will and I are coming there as a brace.

Look forward to seeing all fellow PHers there.

Yes it is him, he lives next door to me. He was at Rockingham too last Sunday and mentioned the weather to me as I couldn't make it.

Glad to hear there is a good lot of us, should be a good day!

Hi All,

I'm coming along to this - thanks to Julian for his place;)

I'll be there in my old white shed (datsun skyline) and fingers crossed won't be having any noise issues like the last time I was there!

Can anyone confirm what the static noise level is now?
It used to be 98db but I think I remember seeing it advertised at 101db recently?? I really hope they're not as strict as they used to be....
My car usually measures between 93-96db so everything crossed I'll be ok!

Also, does anyone know if the petrol station will be open on site or where the nearest shell is?

Should hopefully be trying out a new HD camcorder so if anyone wants to be filmed give me a shoutsmile

Cheers all,
Sam

IIRC the static is 101dB but the drive-by will be the killer at 87.5dB. they're certainly no less strict now than they were "before" - if anything they'll be stricter than they've been in "the past".

Thanks for the heads up Jonny. We will be fitting the quiet can so hopefully we will be OK. Thanks for Rockingham on Sunday too, it turned out to be a lot of fun in the afternoon after the monsoon cleared up.
