Saturdays race (dry) was a good start to the series.

After first corner shenanigans and the loss of Steve Hall due to black/yellow flag, Kevan won comfortably, slowing a little towards the end. Incident that led to Steve Halls flaying bodywork was out of sight from me and tannoy was a bit of a comedy of errors. Good battles in mid-field between Patrick and Graham (0.4s between them) and Cliff gained another place late on in his first race after a 3 car scrap into the final few laps led to Phil spinning. Geoff charged back at Cliff up to the finish line but Cliff just kept his position (0.17s).

Winner Kevan gore Class B (17:00.541)
2 Steve Lewis A (+8.7s)
3 Dave Reynolds (first race!) B (+34.9s)
4 Pat Smith B (great spin, nearly dropped my camera A'la Fredo Corleone)
5 Graham Walden A (thanks for my ticket!)
6 Cliff Jobson A
7 Geoff Parkinson Q (3000M - spin late on)
8 Phil Bolderson A (spin last lap)
DNF Steve Hall, John Sumner
DNS Simon Bowes (engine trouble), Gary Coulson (enthusiastic testing)

Qualifying/grid
Steve Hall (B/Q?) 1:09.312
Patrick Smith B
Kevan Gore B
Steve Lewis A
Dave Reynolds B
John Sumner A
Graham Walden A
Geoff Parkinson B
Phil Bolderson A
Cliff Jobson A

Fastest lap Kevan Gore 1:10.034, (Steve Lewis not far behind with 70bhp less we're led to believe! 10:10.293)

I sadly couldn't make Sunday, so I'm also keen to know how race 2 went (I expect in wet conditions).
