HSV E2 arriving in the UK?

Does anybody have any clue as to whether the HSV E2 is coming to the UK as a vauxahll, I know that there are no more new VXR8's being sold, so just wanted to know if the new one is coming to the UK.

Also if not, does anybody know someone who can import them...and at what cost?

why spend £40k upwards on one when there are still a handful of delivery mileage cars about for £22k

There are no manual cars left.
And also, I love the facelifted model...it turns out that when the VXR8 was introduced only a handfull were sold for the £35 price tag, most were heavily discounted.

Correction vauxhall held the pricing high for a couple of years from launch but when it hit financial problems it decided to have a clear out at £27k and then finally at £23k.

Its been put forward that following aquisition of business by Magna from GM that no more will be coming in officially.

Vauxhall's Stu is on this forum and I am sure he will quickly contradict my comments if there are plans afoot to import any.

A grey import HSV will cost you >£40k and will be worth <£20k inside 2 years,would be better off buying the facelift bonnet and bumpers and fitting them to a UK car.

I really do hope there are more coming, 20K sounds like a lot of money to lose in 2 years.

As far as I understand it, there are no plans to import any of the VE 2 models.

At current exchange rates it about the same in £'s as in $AU.
