Electric Central Heating. Any good?
Discussion
Considering a Trianco Aztec 6KW system to provide heating and hot water for a conversion project involving a bedsit.
System looks small, cheap and suitable for DIY installation.
Has anybody tried one of these or anything on the same principle?
Would this require a separate electric shower or would hot water be drawn from the vessel?
There's a 2KW version too which is even cheaper but is that enough to do anything worthwhile?

Don't do it!
Why bother to fit a "system" when individual items will be cheaper to install and cost the same to run?
With the hot water you could either fit a conventional cylinder or instant electric - the instant one will be cheaper to run.
Electric heating, you might as well use oil filled column heaters or even fan heaters.
The only energy efficient electric heating is with a heat pump, something like a 3kW output unit (using about 750 watts) should be under a thousand installed - but you need indoor and outdoor space for it.
