I see dense people. They don't even know they're dense
Discussion
Is it just me that finds talking to people outside PH to be rather depressing? Thought I'd give this whole "social" thing a go and actually talk to people in and around the office.
So far this morning I've learnt that:

So far this morning I've learnt that:
- breaking "a" speed limit by 5mph is lethal and I'm an idiot to do it, however to throw a ball or other large object from behind a hedge into the path of a speeding car is perfectly acceptable, in fact deserved and should be encouraged.
- It is acceptable and "you is stupid" to challenge the fact that, car dealer "a" needs to charge 5 times the price of car dealer "b" "because they probably have all the right tools, which I think must be expensive".
- If a diagnosis of a problem reveals you to be the problem, the diagnoser is an idiot, a new diagnosis is needed, not an altering of your behaviour.

In the main, it's not just you. I am fairly lucky in the my social circle of friends tend to share the same beliefs as me, namely that AGW is rubbish, Speed does not kill, and lefties are generally hyprocrites etc..Jasandjules said:

Typo's what?
You see them everywhere, but obviously the best place to observe is in large, well-populated public spaces. Here we can see the contemporary epsilon minus semi moron in their element.
Even when stationary and inactive, the dense are easily identified, usually because the precise point they have chosen to rest their (barely intelligent) lifeform will be in a doorway or at the top/bottom of a staircase or escalator. Spatial dyslexia is further demonstrated by the inability to distinguish why eveyone else tries to navigate the supermarket isles with their trolley in line with the row - thereby minimising inconvenience to others - rather than at random angles.
The dense are easily prompted into a grunting near hysteria; witness queues at petrol stations when there's the threat of fuel strikes and especially those who have lined up for twnety minutes just to piddle £5 of unleaded into their tank. Similar herd mentality is displayed in supermarkets and grocery stores immmediately before and after bank holidays, because no one can survive two days of no food shopping(?).
The national lottery is the ultimate tax on the dense, the very densest of whom will buy multiple tickets to 'increase their chances' - statistics being another weak point for the semi-moron.
I could go on, but fear I'm enjoying myself far too much.

You do increase your chances buying multiple tickets - assuming the two tickets have different numbers on them. IIRC the chances of winning the jackpot is roughly 14,000,000:1. So, if you were to buy two tickets you would have a 14,000,000:1 chance with each ticket, which is 14,000,000:2 or 7,000,000:1 - the same principle applies to lower value prizes. That's better odds innit? (in brackets)/ [sic] etc to prevent grammer rozzers attack dogs!
