History book Ireland

Was hoping that someone can recommend me a good comprehensive history of Ireland book?

Would like it to cover our dallies with the English (shouldn't be too hard!) and the An gorta mor.

Don't mind buying it online or a book store chain.

A history of modern Ireland by F X Martin is good. For more recent stuff try Robert Fisk's Book, sorry cant remember the name.
