I got a watch from Harvey Nichols, Toywatch and I have broken the strap.
Now the only replacement I can get is about £50 from America, which IMO is quite steep for a watch of £175.

Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?

I have tried eBay.

Cheers,

Post a picture of the watch (or at least an internet link to the specific model) & we might be able to suggest an aftermarket alternative.

I bought one and the strap broke. I took it back to Harrods and they fixed it. Try Harvey Nicks.

It's a bit steep but for example the Seamaster is £300 on a watch that costs around £1700 which is about 17% of the value. Yours comes to 28% but if one considrs just 4 years ago the Seamaster was £1170 the strap is about 26% of the value so you're not far off.

God I wish I had bought my Seamaster at £1170 rather than £1700!

Link. It is not a normal strap, it is a kind of soft plastic.

Take it I should just bite the bullett and order a new strap?

If you want an exact match, then there's no way round it. You could try what was suggested above, mind, as it could be covered by the warranty. That said, depends which bit of the bracelet is damaged. You might be able to buy the relevant part for pennies on ebay.
