Advert not in classifieds.

Hi,

I hope this is in the right section..

I posted an advert 48 hours ago for a car that I am selling on ebay, however it has not come up in the classifieds yet. I believe it takes up to 24 hours for it to be approved and posted - maybe it was not approved for some reason? Any help appreciated.

Hi Oliver,

The problem here is your phone number, you must enter a valid phone number on your ads user account for your adverts to be accepted. There is no need to show it on the advert, but we need a second form of contact in case of email problems.

If you update your user details and resubmit the advert then it should go live straight away.

...Yes, i am in the same situation. I posted my advert and although I have had a email
saying the advert is live, I cannot find it in the A4 section.

What have I done wrong.....(me and computers were never a match!)

....Found my advert.
it is 36 pages in on the Audi A4 section.

I know its a standard advert and those at 'Pistonhead towers' dont charge,but wouldnt it
be better if the adverts are listed as they are approved, so the newest advert is on page 1 etc
as people may not traul though 36 pages just to find newly listed items for sale.

As a long term forum member you are entitled to free premium adverts, which will mean that your advert will appear ahead of all the standard adverts.

I'll have a look and check that your classified account has linked itself to your forum account properly.

It is upgraded to premium now, you can add the extra pictures as soon as you like and it will jump up to near the top within one hour.
