Sorry about this but i've been trying to work out in my fragile little mind how this works!!!!
If at a 1/4 mile drag strip people favor burnouts and lower tyre pressure for traction how is this gonna work????
I mean you cant do burnouts at TR (or can you????) and tyre pressure really needs increasing(doesn't it???)
I know we get a print out for each stage at the mile and i was wondering how you big boys think it will affect your 1/4 times???????
Would i not be right in saying that if the same procedures we used in the mile as are used in the 1/4 wouldn't the mile Terminal speeds be better(or would they?????)
Lastly
Are people going for a gentle launch (to keep the DB's to a minimum) or will rowdy behaviour be the norm(as usual

)From what i read in my welcome pack there is no wheel spinning or tyre warming allowed in the assembly area. and there doesnt look to be a 'staging' area either. So i guess its just a goto the line and floor it job.
I'll be taking it easy away from the line on the first few, just to stay on the right side of the db meter.I'll also be running standard road pressure.

loew tyre pressures mostly apply to soft walled tuyres to aid traction off the line.
For modern stiff wall tyres, its almost a waste of time. And I also wouldnt reccomend raising pressures for any belief it might help attain a higher speed. All it will do is increase risk of a blowout through too high pressure.
Leave tyre pressure close to standard.
Burnouts on normal road tyres are almost pointless too.
