I am currently searching for an alternative for the stock wheels and AFAIK Kinesis makes some custom wheels for the Ultima. Not the best design in my opinion though. So does anybody know what are the GTR front and rear wheel offsets and the wheel nut spacing. Maybe anyone knows of wheels other than Kinesis that can be used instead of the stock ones.

Thanks
Alex

Thanks unfortunately the offset is not the biggest problem. The wheel nut spacing is Doesn't anybody know how large it is?

I was hoping for an 5x114 or at least the Viper PCD.
Damn it's close to impossible to find some wheels in this size and PCD. Do you guys know of any suitable alternatives for the stock ones? The only ones I've found are the BBS LM.

I thought it was also close to what Mercedes use 112.5 x 5.
There are a lot of 3-piece wheel manufacturers out there. I went with compomotive, but there are others. Whatever suits your taste.
Cheers!

It might just be what I'm looking for. I would be very grateful if you could send me a pic or two of those wheels on your car ( pinkowski@powerforge.pl ). The exact ET numers would also be very useful (as some wheels need different offsets to clear the calipers).

I belive pomeone told me image wheels used to supply the factory with the ulitma rims. www.imagewheels.co.uk I know a builder near me in VA got a set or rims from them, very similar to the factory ones.

Alex,
When you say that different calipers require different offset...did you know that some of the wheel designers can alter the "caliper clearance" between the back of the spoke and the caliper. I'll measure the distance from the back of my spokes to the hub mounting surface for you. Take a look at the UK compomotive website for a more technical explanation www.compomotive.com
Cheers!
