Having just collected this morning (Chim) I have encountered two problems already. Firstly the boot is now failing to open (did open earlier at dealers) but Big Al has already sent remedies for this.

Secondly the door mirrors do not seem to be adjusting properly now either. Some movement but very little.
Even if moved by hand they seem to reset to some useless position so can see road or sky. Any ideas welcomed.

are your mirror housings in the correct position?by this i mean the body can be moved on the car and if not in the correct position, then no amount of glass adjustment will get you the picture you want to see behind you.ive had this and thought my mirror mechanics were knackered, then i accidently knocked the housing into the correct position and hey presto!-doh

mine appear to sit in "notches" so I can either have them adjusted to the left extreme with the end of the glass sticking out, or with the mirror housing on the next "notch" out I can have the other end of the glass sticking out of the housing.....

THe glass has a tendancy to drop (only held on with double sided sticky tape IIRC. If it has dropped it will drag on the inside of the casing. Hence the restricted movement.
