But still, guys should not be punching a girl. I have only witnessed one occasion when I thought the guy was in the right:

A couple were having a complete domestic. The guy kept trying to get her to calm down and leave but she kept going and going in a loud, chav-like way. He eventually goes into his house and locks the door. She keeps shouting and being a general pain. Then she takes a heavy wooden garden chair and starts hitting it off the front door(with glass panels). Cue the livid young man coming out as she was walking down the steps. He picked up the chair and threw it off her, so not really a punch.

I would have personally gone with both of them getting into crap, but in the end I think only the man was charged in court.

I'd managed to blithely continue my own existance without knowing anything about her at all. I'm now amased that I'd carried out this poor facsimilie of a life with such ignorance.
