Shock absorbers

Can anyone help me find a pair of original or compatible rear shocks for a 1999 400 Chimaera? I don't really want adjustables because I only use this car as a GT and am happy with the ride as-is. I can't find part numbers or anything with my "Googling".
Whilst I would happily go "used" I am a bit wary about buying used units from breakers. Has anyone any ideas please?

You should be able to buy new Bilsteins, they were original on Chims & Griffs of that age....I bet secondhand ones are knackered, I replaced mine on 2001 Chim.

just because they are adjustable does not mean you have to change them once you are happy with the set up. If it is the money then you need to buy from a car with them already on to see or feel the condition. Alternatively buying used is a risk and the quality of your shock absorber is important.
