E36 M3 GT -UK car. Whats it worth

Hi,

My mate has a UK E36 M3 GT that he's owned for the last few years.

Its done about 150,000, has been well maintained mechanically, but its getting tatty around the edges.

I'm quite tempted by it myself, but it needs a proper wheel refurb, and paintwork to sort out some minor rust problems.

Any idea on what its worth would be appreciated.

Really hard to pin down prices on proper GT's, well sought after by those in the know, but one that's starting to see rust and probably needs a complete suspension refresh, i would take a guess at 4K - 5.5K depending on how dog eared it is, but getting it back to a good standard isn't going to be cheap. Good ones can fetch 7 - 10K.

Strange car, the GT.

Better than the 3.0 M3, not as good as the Evo, but low numbers keeps the price high.

For the cost of a tatty GT you could buy a decent Evo.
