Shop around online is about £27 for 12 months, but you get one months free when you set up a new account wink

Other than FM3, make sure you get Cod4 and MW2 when it comes out.

Depends what else you like to do, but as you know theres loads of us here and there will be some great championships on FM3 thumbup

Played through GOW once, hardly touched it since. Characters I couldn't give a stuff about, a plot that makes the Halo series look innovative, clunky controls (even Mass Effect does better 3rd person combat, and it's an RPG) - about the only thing I liked was the chainsaw bayonet. The multiplayer really isn't that much better, especially compared to COD4 and Halo 3. Is GOW 2 an improvement or is it just more of the same in fancier clothes?

Just my opinion, but I really didn't see why this game generated so much excitement.

To the OP - get Dead Rising, and the sequel when it comes out. PGR4 is also a decent arcade racer - both are in the classics range, so should be dirt cheap.

Because it's frickin' awesome smile

IMO of course wink

But then again, I didn't like Dead Rising, and as a racing game, I think PGR4 sucks.

Good job they cater for all tastes eh smile

Dead Rising? It's sort of like Dawn Of The Dead: The Game. You, 72 hours, a mall with 50,000 zombies. You can play through the story, or just grab pretty much anything that comes to hand and go on a mental oriental undead killing spree.

NB: The Nerf gun does NOT do a very good job of hurting zombies.

Everyone will have their own opinion on this. But as far as exclusives go.

Crackdown (probably about a 5er by now)
Halo 3 (probably a 5er by now)
Both are amazing. Crackdown is probably my most played game in all my xbox ownership (apart from Forza 2)

P.S. (before I came to this thread I thought, 'oh no someone's bought a ps3' smile

Are as many people buying PS3's these days - I was getting the impression it's firmly in third place out of the three major consoles?

Halo and Forza are the two for me, I'd probably say:

Halo 3
Halo 3:ODST (gets you all the DLC Halo 3 maps, and I've loved campaign so far. Firefight was fun too with online pals)
Forza 2/3

I've got other cheapie games, but they're just wasting time by comparison! (Apart from the easy paty type things that can be played with other non-geek family members)

Buy Halo 3: ODST that's a must.

Also some cheap classics.

Crackdown
Left4Dead

And not forgetting the brilliant Arcade games (downloadable)

Trials HD
Worms
Castle Crashers

You may also want to pick up 4 rechargeable AA batteries with a charger. You can buy a play and charge kit, but your much better off with rechargables.

Also install games to the HDD, this makes gaming silent.

I'll have the best of both worlds now.. I'll still be on PS3 so you won't miss me too much.

What's the AI like on Forza?

Depends what you already have on PS3.

Why bother getting the same game on both?
