for those who remember my unfortunate ditch excursion I am glad to say that the beastie is getting there! I decided to do a near complete respray on the car and sort out a few wee imperfections here and there, well in fact everywhere!

So hoping to have the beastie back next week and to go out playing in her before the winter sets in!

Been missing her quite a bit. Only drive I had in her for months is back from Top gear Cars to the spray shop! Suppose it keeps the mileage down but not good for these big beasties which do need used to keep them healthy.

In future hoping just to use her on road and not pretend to be a tractor and plough ditches!

Hi
here is the only pic i have of the damage. the front N/s spoiler was broken off and the plastic wheelarch damaged. Young Alan enthusiastically towed me out of the ditch but we damaged the front o/s bonnet opening.
Damage on a fiesta would have been about £1500 including all suspension parts!

I had a new pair of Konis made up by Jon at Sports line suspension as didn't want to replace with standard dampers. £1000 each from lambo. Both Carlo of top gear cars and find there is more fluency and control at the front. Will get a set of 4 made for the rear this winter by Jon to Koni spec.

Just don't like the big beastie not being used for so long! I like to drive my cars in particular on the road!

Be great to see the Lambo back out on the road again, it would be a shame if you never saw them been used as they should be.

I had my wheels done at Ace Performance too, derek is a great chap. But like you say, the workshop is something like out of the dark ages! However he did an excellent job on the wheels smile

Hi Paul,

good to see progress being made and completion is near. I'm sure if you wanted a quick run within the next few weeks you wouldn't have any problem finding some company. You will be like a big kid at Christmas when you get it back!!! Looking forward to seeing it on the road.
Kenny.

I'm on holiday from 18th - 25th Oct, but when i come back i'd be up for a run. End of October is always stunning as the greenery all changes colour, you only need a few hours of dry weather to complete the experience.

As most of us know leaves, rain, corners and tyres don't always mix as one would like!!

Would you like a dark blue recovery truck to follow you, can be kitted out with Lamborghini support unit and amber flashing lights mounted to the roof rails??

hehe

Just incase,

I'd like never to see the sight of a long white shape develop its own smoke screen then vanish infront of me..

I have someone in a porsche wanting the towtruck to help him should he try and outdo you at your digging game.

It's lucky Paul has a sense of humour AJM or you could have been dead by now with all your tow truck jokes. Paul if you need a hit taken out i'll give you a good price, but i'm sure you have some Italian connections that are already in place!! Watch your step AJM or you might be in the ditch lol.

Kenny don't worry. No one still alive has accused me of being in organised crime! M family moved out of that years ago when I moved into law!
Anyway, I am quite happy I have a stalker! I have never had one before and am quite looking forward to it!
I suppose with the rate my old cars develop problems that I could get used to the idea!
Alan, do you have expensive tastes on cakes and coffee? Couldn't let my new stalker starve!
am on my way to Leeds tomorrow if you want to follow me down!
Hoping to have the big car back next week so if your coming over with your dad sometime let me know
