Hi Guys, anyone with a pogo drive that can help.....

I have set the config options so that the unit should auto power off - It doesn't! - anyone use this feature and any idea how long the delay is?

I have also set to OFF the Boost Alert Brightness option - V handy now that most of my driving is in the dark - however, it still boosts the brightness for all of the alerts (I'm running brightness level 3 for most of the time now) and it is just way too bright for an alert at night.

Thanks for any feedback.

Cheers,
Andy.

M

Settings

System

Power

Use auto power off

I assume thats what youve done. It works i think not really noticed. You cannot dim the alert brightness on night driving.

Yeah, auto power off is enabled, but does nothing.

Its poor if the alert boost brightness can't be turned off when using night time brightness - way too bright and end up hitting M to go back to the main menu until I'm passed :-(

Cheers for the feedback.

Numbers on the back. Give pogo a call and tell them about the issues. I will be giving em a call shortly myself.

The auto-off is an auto-to-standby-which-will-only drain-the-battery-in-a-number-of-hours-rather-than-minutes. I know it works because when ever mine fails to pick up a satellite (about 1 in 4 uses) after about 15 minutes it goes to auto-shutdown.

1-4 times?? odd mine has never failed to pick up a satellite. Maybe send it back and ask pogo to look at it or send a new one out.
