I test drove a model with DCT and I was hooked, major difference to SMG and was smooth and rapid when in normal auto but turn the gear change to the fastest setting and it was balistic, paddles will take some getting used to!
So ive ordered Interlagos Blue with DCT, EDC, and the other usuals of bluetooth, usb, seat heating and park snesors front and back etc... Cant wait till delivery!
I've read differing comments on the running in distance before the full power can be used, any comments?

lots of US sites saying "hard" run-ins lead to less oil consumption, my experience of most performance cars from new is short forays into the high revs once the engine is fully warmed has done no harm and in fact when I had my Z3M coupe it was quicker than an indentical age car run by a friend who was very cautious running in. I would never labour the car or drive hard from cold, new or run-in though on that one...

the car regulates its own redline, you'll get it when it lets you.The manual makes for some hilarious reading though, there is a sentence that reads something along the lines of "During the running in phase speeds over 140mph should only be used for brief periods ie over taking"

That first Oil is NOT designed for high revs.

Depends on the spec and milage. What would put me off a demo car slighty is the way that some of the salesmen conduct the test drives. At one garage, the chap hit the red line while pulling onto a duel carraige way. The car had only been running for a minute or so.
All I can say is haggle. The is always a deal to be done.

Don't M cars limit the revs until the car is warmed up? All I can say is haggle. The is always a deal to be done.
All of the current AUC cars (well the E90s) seem to be pre-reg cars that were pushed into the system. No real choice of colour/trim it's silver/black or black/red, that's it. Asking ~£40k for them seems a bit steep when they were under £50k new from what I understand.
