Checking BMW car history - Is there a phone number?
Discussion
You could try one of the many car history check websites - such as the RAC, the AA, Experian, HPI, Equifax.
Alternatively you could call BMW's customer service line at £1/minute - although they only have the history of cars that remain within the dealer servicing network and can't tell you about MOTs or accidents.

Worth a look as it's free, you only need the reg and v5 ref number on the front of the v5 document - 10/11 digits iirc.
