They went down the street and got married at another office. That twunt will have to resign by the end of the week. If one is familiar with the local area he works for, they would understand. He is not indicative of the whole state....much like comparing, say, Liverpool to Kent.

What do you expect in the deep south? Lets get this in proportion, he's on the border of Louisiana and Mississippi. Social advancement is marrying your sister.

And maybe he has a point - that most interracial couples don't survive and that their offspring have a very hard time. I can't think of a worse place to consider an interracial marriage frankly.

Watch it TM, in Florida, you are technically "farther south". Other than that, you are about right concerning the border area.
