Plane charter - not luxury

If I wanted to get a plane to take say 80 people from Stansted - Lyon, and back again two days later, what sort of cost would I be looking at? Could fly from different airports (although need to be close to those two) to make things cheaper.

Do not want champagne service and club seating, just normal airline style.

I looked into this 2 yrs ago to get 150 people from Stansted to ireland.

Worked out approx £350 each from what i remember, far cheaper to go easyjet/ryanair

Lyon is a tw*t to get to though so may work out.

Probably May 28-30 2011, but if that's too far in advance you could look at the same days in 2010

I have asked the question and will post back when I have a rough quote for you.

What will make this more expensive is the fact that the aeroplane has to do the journey twice. Can be left on the ground in Lyon earning no money for 2 days.

Things may have changed but there never used to be scheduled flights from the south of England to Lyon. So by the time you've factored in secondary transport and herding 80 people a charter might make sense.
