Picture the situation, some thicket hears that stuff is "cheaper on t'internet", never having used the web before they arent really that familiar with spotting a blatant scam or a dodgey looking website, they borrow a PC from a friend or use one at the local library, somehow stumble across this site, think they have found the Internets best kept secret, and quickly ship all their money off to China in a matter of minutes.I just can't believe anyone would!!

There's no way of chasing down the culprits, ultimately the Credit Card companies end up paying.

I've bought from places like that in the past. Whether their stuff is genuine brands is another thing but i bought a camera a few years ago from a company that i was buying wholesale car parts from and its still going fine as if it was new, was 2/3 the European retail price too.

This one's advertising GSX-Rs with a list of just under £9k for £1.8k. They're a wholesale retailer in China same as thousands of others.

Ok, on the front page they have a Nikon D700 digital SLR for $200, Jessops price is £1800, US price is around $2100. Camera made by a Japanese corp in Thailand..............................why would Nikon wholesale stuff to China that cheaply and not the rest of the planet, the answer is of course that the sites a fishing site and it no doubt costs Nikon more than $200 to make and ship a D700. yes you can get bargains sometimes, but 10% of retail is a tad too big a discount to believeThey're a wholesale retailer in China same as thousands of others.
