Sky remote control

If I buy a standard sky digital remote control from ebay does it need to be tuned somehow to my system or will it just work no probs.

I had to buy a new Sky remote (from Tescos) and worked perfectly from out of the box.

A standard SKY remote will work a standard sky box, a SKY+ remote needs coding to work a standard sky box. The only other coding required is for the TV functions to work.
