When is half term week in your area?

I am supposed to be doing some telephone interviews with teachers these next few weeks but I suspect they might not take kindly to me calling them during half term. I have their school addresses/number as well as home numbers . So, where are you, and which week do your local kids have off?

I know some areas have this coming week off ( 19-23) and some have the following week 26th-30th.

Well ours is week of 26th and we are in East Sussex, and everyone I know has the same week

You know every school name and address. So go to school website. Look at term calendar.

I work in education and its the 26th and normally Lincs is out of sync with everyone else which is a nightmare for me at work but this time they seem to all be the same.

Most schools have a website which usually have the half term dates on them. Terms and half terms are set by county and so will usually be the same in the county/LEA, so try their web sites too.

Mostly the week of the 26th but many private schools have 2 weeks starting tomorrow.

No, fortunatly I am not an English teacher, what a state the world would be in if that were the case. I must stop posting in a rush and remember punctuation is important!!!
