where,s my little mel
Discussion
Mel, I reckon with a more agressive start - think Gareth stylee - you could get another 2-3 mph out of yours easy.... my last untimed run where I wheel span for an hour off the line ended up with me crossing the line at 152+ish - a pb for me for the day - time would have been cr@p but terminal speed higher.
To all, had a great day - again the organisation was excellent and managed to put a few more faces to names!

hmmm 152, what was your times wolfy?
Haven't got a clue - we didn't get timing slips so had to look on a master list posted on the office window - I'm sure someone will be able to get a copy of these to post up the fastest?
I assume everyone was concentrating on terminal speed rather than quarter or ET's.
Hi Gang,
Glad you all had fun today, I was/am really gutted my Mel beater died this morning while just about to join the convoy. I have a not so nice 1.4 Yaris thanks to the nice people at the AA (with very heavily worn brake pads by the feel of the brakes). Very nice to meet so many of your last night and Happy Birthday Jez!!
It's currently sat outside Kim & Bill's farm at Monkfish. Hope the B word will be up and running again very soon this week.
Any idea if there is any chance of getting my Thunder Road money back
Cheers
Steven

Hi mate.
Gutted you had problems, hope its nothing too serious.
Re a refund, you`ll have to talk to Colin at Javelin as he is the event host.
(Phil and I had nothing to do with the money)
