Discussion
Thanks to all who helped me here with regards to buying/searching for a Z4 for the missus.
Popped into an BMW dealership today. Bought a Z4 within 30 minutes. I got it for £11,000
The Car:
- Done 40k miles, one owner...
- Approved used BMW 3.0i 2003 Z4.
- Full BMWFSH
- Black Saphirre
- Full black Oregon leather
- 18" Composites
- Carver Hi-Fi upgrade
- 6 CD Multichanger
- Satnav
- Heated Seats
- Parking Sensors
- Wind Deflector
- Xenons
- Full electric Seats + Memory
- Rain Sensor
- Auto Wipers
- Run Flats
- Run Flat warning thinggy..
- 1 Year full BMW Warranty
- Carmats
- Car is being serviced/MOT'd before delivery
- All wheels are being refurbished/And the car is being resprayed/touched up where needed
Also got a full treatment of Supagard thrown in on the whole car. Interior/Hood/Wheels and bodypanels, and finally I got a full tank of petrol.
The deciding factor for the car was the Approved BMW warranty i would be getting on the car.
Eitherway, i'm finally leaving the 2001 Audi behind. Tremendous workhorse, would buy an Audi again.

Sounds like you got a cracking deal.
Next cheapest to yours has 20K more miles and less spec

Great car you got and a great price!

Sounds like a bargain to me!
Nice spec by the way - black with the composite alloys a good combo and with black leather too.
Don't mean to bring you down but just keep a close eye on those wheels for corrosion. Give them an especially thorough check before the warranty expires as the 2 piece wheels are well known for starting to bubble especially if the car is a daily driver.
Overall though, I think you've got a good 'un there though

Slightly O/T (apologies)
I like the Composites on my Z4, but am none too impressed by the corrosion and feel a letter to BMW coming on. Look forward to hearing recommendations on wheel refurbs and costs (I'm Bristol area)
BMW have a reputation for quality build - and components, but my 43000 mile 2003 car's wheels are quite frankly shocking to look at. I also run a 2002 70000 mile Mondeo as a daily smoker and its wheels are immaculate.
When I come to replace the Z4, a newer BMW may feature for the driving experience - but the inconsistent build quality (most is rock solid, but some elements are literally flakey) will count against the marque.
