Considering Selling my S1

Not 100% sure on this yet as I still love the car, but the wife isn't so keen.
So the plan for romantic weekends away without the kids isn't happening.
So after a little more refinement i've been eying up cheap Chimaera's. even SHMBO likes them especially if its a red one.
So if anyone is interested in a very well sorted S1 let me know.
Highlights are:
Body off complete, chassis refurbed, powder coated better than new
Adrian Venn trailing arms.
Front and rear brakes overhauled, new brake master cylinder, stainless flexi's
Fuel Pump and fuel hose
New fuel cooler (some s1's have these for hot climate driving)
Gax adjustables on the rear
New suspension bushes and joints all round
Steve Heath arb drop links
Recored Rad,
Stainless radiator pipes
New engine mounts and clean and painted engine with top end refurbed.
Diff mounts
Fuel tank cradle
Ignition module.
Reconditioned quick rack 2.5 turns lock to lock!
Great set of Bridgestone Potenza's
So with the exception of a couple of minor things mechanically she is A1 and feels very tight, the cost of the above if anyone ever dare add it up is more than the car will sell for. Just MOT'd in Sept.
Hood is watertight and in good condition, panels fit very well (now)
Stainless sports exhaust is good with all new exhuast mounts, sounds lovely.
Interior pretty good
Gearbox professionally rebuild 20k ago, painted during rebuild
Things still to do:
Alloy refurbed
Paint work, with a polish still looks good but needs a freshen up in places to look A1.
Finish aligning bonnet, it's ok but needs tweaking.
Other odds and sods.
The engine pulls strong through the rev range and feels tight.
Depending on when or if she sells I'll be workign my way through the list.
Theres a wad of service history and MOT's etc

Nope not sure about the decision.
Just feel I need a bit more power! but can't afford to invest in engine/turbo/cams etc mods that won't increase the cars value.
My main trips in the car have been to work and back a fair few times now, but the roads are rough and don't suit the car so the enjoyment is limited. I've had a few better runs when I've loved it to bits.
I'll look at a V8 if one comes up in budget don't know how I convince her indoors its more refined though.
Its a 2.8 k jet by the way, gets lots of pops on overun which make me love it more!!
I'll probably regret it as much as selling my alfa spider but that was to finance a house!

A two hour drive isn't a prospect she looks forward to in the S but I would convince her in a chim, a romantic trip to the french coast could even be achievable.
Made me p*ss my self when I read one TVR owner on here state "you learn to ignore the look with time!" for me that the foot down in second existing a round a bout look!
the thread I wrote after driving a friends chim is pretty honest, it didn't completely win me over the chim owner said he could extract similar levels of driving pleasure for a lot less cash which was fair!
