Won this from Octane a month or two back. Not worn it because it is far too big for me so on the 'Bay it goes I guess. Pity really.
Must be big Tony - you've got a Seiko Monster haven't you?I saw it in the magazine and didn't like it, but I'm afraid that your pictures have only confirmed it for me.
Stick it on the classifieds here though - it won't cost you anything...
Fully in agreement with you Stuart. I didn't place this as an ad, just a photo for people to see what they look like. Yes, it's pretty solid and above all, in the modern fashion, large, but it ain't my cup of tea. My Monster on my puny wrists is big enough and strangely, although the IWC Chrono is rated a tad larger, it hasn't the diver's bezel so the size of the glass is bigger than the Monster. Whatever, both of those, are well big enough for me.
Tony - didn't think that you were trying to advertise it, so sorry if I implied that. Just pointing out that as a forum account holder of long standing you're entitled to free premium advertising. No point paying Fleabay listing fees if you can sell it here for nowt...
What do they retail for anyway?

I thought I'd take this as a size comparison Stuart. I've compared it to the Monster because there are far more of those about than a Spitfire Chrono and people will better understand. You'll see what I mean when I say that this is far too big for me.
Good god that's enormous! I'm afraid that I really struggle to understand how they can justify charging £625 for that given the alternatives at that price bracket, even before you consider used watches. Is the case plastic?Don't think the EMAs Diver watch is a bad looking daily smoker at £150

But when they start getting into the £600+ territory it's surely cloud cuckoo land. Ok so the Octane one is supposedly a limited edition but they have been trying to flog em for months and months via ads in the mag, given they are still doing so I can only guess they aren't racing off the shelf - was only meant to be 98 of them produced as well

I bought one of the divers as a holiday watch/daily smoker a couple of years ago. Quite a good thing really, although with a clear plastic case it doesn't really feel like £150 of watch. Now completely superceded by my apparently indestructible Sinn 856, but it is kicking around in the back of my safe somewhere I think.

It is. And its a lot smaller than the case. That size is bonkers. The size pic next to that Monster though.... blimey is my only reaction. I have a Monster and it's borderline too big for me, I'd have to wear that Emas round my ankle.
Or use it as a bicep strap (wasn't there some fashion thing that a young PHer got roasted for regarding this years ago?)
