Is so expensive £80 - 130 quid it seems it about average.

Does anyone know where I may be able to lay my hands on a cheaper copy?

You can download it as a 30 day trial from the Macromedia website.

You can then download some other things, or people could email them to you if they were that way inclinded.

If you've a slow connection and think the download might take too long, try a trip to your nearest newsagent and check out the cover CDs on some of the mags. Dreamweaver and Flash 30-day trials are frequently included on web design and Internet publications, and you might even find one with a useful tutorial feature.
