Another new Sagaris owner

My Father collected his Sagaris on Saturday, Just returned from a fantastic drive out with him, I have long been a TVR fanatic and it did not disapoint it was awesome.

He has drove it for about 5hours and the car has been great, all we have had to do is tighten a radiator hose, He also had a little fun this morning as he put a little too much fuel in than needed so a few paper towels were handy but the best thing was, once we got the car home Sat night it was parked in the drive with mine on the road and a little lad rode past, he caught a glimpse of the car and did not look back at the road and went straight into the back of my car. I now need to get a new rear light and a small dent removed haha

Whats more scary is when you see drivers at roundabout's almost going into the back of others when they catch a glimpse of the Sagaris...

Hi Crimbo, sounds like your dad's Sag is the one my wife spotted on Saturday on the A520 and the one the lad's at work saw on the forecourt yesterday (some sort of orange TVR type thing - as they put it!!!). Nice looking car.

That may of been us on the way to THE CAT AND FIDDLE (1st spot), your lads most probably sore us at the petrol station where we put a little to much fuel in LOL, pretty scary seeing fuel drip close to sideways exhaust. But all was sorted with a few paper towels, That will teach my farther to stop trying to round his fuel figures to an even figure.

Just out of curiosity is there an option to view the MPG the car is running, we have not found it on the display or mentioned in the booklet.

Welcome to the Sag Club lovely choice nearly went for that colour myself.
As far as i know there is not an MPG option on the menu system but i stand to be corrected if someone else knows better?

Thats what we thought but its no biggy, just interesting as I have read alot of people returning mid 20's on steady runs which is great, Great colour you have there too! love the plate aswell

Yep, mpg is pretty good. Especially compared with Audi V8s and the like. I've done 2 long trips in the past 4 weeks - Frankfurt and another to deepest Switzerland. Both involved some enthusiastic driving. I averaged mid 20s on each trip - mine is a baby 3.6L, but it has a 3.91 ratio diff meaning around 8-10% increased revs/mpg compared to a slower car (er, I mean diff).
