Just like to say thanks to all the people at the pod. Always friendly, helpful and got to look in the gantry and walk on the track too this year. Aided me at the top end when needed, lined me up in the groove and never failed to make me feel welcome and give advice.
Work hard prepping clearing the track for us RWYB'ers whatever the weather.
Also great pics from Ian and Paula Blackett, lovely couple... top bananas.
Chuffed to end on a high with a 10.6@132mph and drive home with no AA call outs this season. Gone from watching to having 2 great years racing for fun and encourage everyone to have a go, great people great atmosphere. Real dream come true for me.
Great job guys n girls real big thanks.

I'll second that thanks as well.

The staff at Pod (mainly volunteers I beleive) do a great job, sometimes in pretty rubbish weather to keep things running smoothly.

They also put up with a fair amount of grief on RWYB days too, but always seem to muster a smile!

The startline crew have been immensely patient with me this year at RWYB events in my first outings into the world of Altereds. From not being able to get it into reverse, to stalling in the burnout box, they've never once gone 'blimmin women drivers' at me, although I'm sure some might have thought it tongue out

I reckon they do a great job!

I do to,

apart from............

Those at the front of the fire up road(when it goes into 4 lanes) who cant seem to count, 6 pairs from the inner lanes & then only 2 from the outer called forward & then then become jobs worth when you ask why/point it out to them !

And the security staff NOT supervising the pits, why don't they stop the speeding cars , practice launches ?. Aren't pit bikes/quads banned from the pits ? you wouldn't have thought so , and some being ridden by kids !
