I may be reaching a difficult age but this being added to posts on internet, emails, texts or conversations and being passed off as patter is absolutely awful.

I've never been a fan of rehashing catchphrases although in its day some well timed stuff from Wayne's World used to raise a smile when I was a student but a scattergun approach to using a phrase from an advert is no use.

Don't really want to rant and I have already accepted that I will probably get a few "Simples' type responses but I'm rising above it.
