Basically I want to get a good weight for my car, and left/right and fore/aft CofG info.

I can do this on a quarry weigh bridge fairly well, but the % error is probably fairly high.

I also want to jack up the front and determine the change in load on the rear wheels to help determine the CofG height (off-road people do this to help calculate roll over angles etc, so the science is sound)

However, as said, corner weight scales will be more accurate and more meaningful. I'm happy to pay, but want the ability to tinker with the car, change the weights (add driver and luggage etc), so kinda want to be able to arse around for an hour or so.

Does anyone know anywhere that offers this kind of service where I can basically collect data using their kit?

Happy to pay to use, but not the rates as if I were having a suspension system setup etc.

Alternatively, has anyone ever hired some/can reccommend? Ultimately I only really need two as you weigh by halves anyway.

Hmmm, Bicester is just too far away really.

I've seen some pairs going fairly cheap, but times are hard right now. Hiring a pair would be ideal but I have yet to find somewhere.
I'll have to have a quick ring around tomorrow if I get time, as I have had some info about a guy in the Leeds/Swillington area (now down in Kippax) that used to do this kind of thing, so might have to try dig out there number and give them a ring smile

Cheers

MNR up at Harrogate have a set I believe. Normally used for setting up their own customers cars but would probably be able to help out if asked.
