Excuse the blatant plea chaps and chapesses.

As you probably are all aware i have been working with Gosport and Fareham Rugby club U12's with minime being an active player as tighthead prop.

We have an upcoming Tournament and are suffering from a severe lack of raffle prizes.

If anyone has anything at they could donate it would be much appreciated, most of the kids who play at the club are not from the best of backgrounds.

The club gives a lot to the nippers and would be grateful for any help that could be offered.

Many thanks Dave

Hi Ali

Anything really that would create an interest in the raffle, we have done the usual wine beer cakes etc, but not many parents have got the resources to donate, they have all offered time to help, but as this is not a good time finacially for some help is all they can offer realisticaly.

The tournament is the 1st November, any suggestions would be really appreciated.

As a side note i have managed to get the club to agree to do a SAS sunday type service for a limited number of cars with a good breakfast in the club house during the weekends that there are no fixtures.

I will persue this further if there is enough interest.

Dave, I'd love to help in any way I can.

Not sure what I can offer so ideas on a postcard would be great. Is the raffle aimed towards the Children or the Adults?

It might not be so appealing in the winter weather, but I am happy to offer Atom rides. Just let me know where/when/how many/if I should dress up as a fairy.

That is a fantastic offer, no need to dress as a 'fairy 'you are an Angel! and am truly overwhelmed by the response to a blatant beg posted and am equally grateful to everyones offers.

I am trying to arrange some finer details with the club about an auction of rides in cars, with maybe a view to maybe using Thorney Island strip for a day.

I mentioned to the kids this morning about the offers we have had and they are really excited at the possibility of seeing some exotica, so a big thanks to all and when i have got a bit further forward with details i will mail all those who have offered.

Diz have your number text on way thumbup
