Most spectacular fireworks display in London

What's considered the best in town? We dont mind paying, but want to visit something a bit more spectacular thn the local display this year :-)

Can't say I know them all, but blackheath puts on a mean display, good 50k people usually I think.

Haven't been for over a decade, but there was always a massive display at Crystal Palace / Capital Radio event I think.

Another vote for Blackheath. Alternatively, park at the top of Epsom Downs and you can see at least 10.

Only done a couple in my area - Battersea Park a tenner I think, quite large show. Clapham Common lots in a short time and free. But to be honest I can't be bothered with the things. Seen one, seen 'em all. Come to think of it, not even sure why I click into this thread!

I'd avoid Legoland - they shut the gates on Sunday (but didn't tell you until you tried to find a parking place after queuing up the hill)

Alexandria Palace or Ravenscourt Park are both pretty amazing.

Aly Paly can be pretty rammed though. I saw the most amazing display at Ravenscourt Park from the road a couple of years back.
