Cross referenced classifieds?

Just been toying with the idea of getting another V8 "something" and it occured to me that it would be really helpful to have a "V8" grouping in the classifieds.

And in that case, a V6, convertible, classic etc etc group would also be really helpful. A bit like search tags on stuff on Google.

Would this be a difficult and time consuming thing to do? (I'm guessing it would be )

We have big plans for the classified search which should make the kind of searching you are after quick and easy, but there is a way of doing something similar at the moment.

If you go to the advanced search then you can hold down the ctrl key when selecting models to select more than one at the same time. Fill in the rest of the relevant fields (price, distance, etc) and then press search to get all the matching cars from the multiple categories you selected.

Now the you have your results, you can bookmark the results page in your browser and jump straight back to it, without having to fill in all the details again. The results will update automatically every time you go to the page, so it is an easy way of monitoring what has been added that you might be interested it.
