How was it not picked up electronically, and instead by eager eyed office workers?!

Doesn't the scam work when both parties or at least one party is aware of the incident. I don't think it was him actually claiming 500 times on one of his own vehicles?

The defendant drove the cars and charged £500 and left the 2 parties to get on with the claim.

Alot of these scams are happening in Scrap yards and then both parties would make a claim and as they both have the same story it would be a case for ins comp to prove fraud.

You're right of course, my title is a bit misleading but I couldn't edit it.

All well and good until he swerves into your braking zone and slams his anchors on. That was the exact scenario he did on a van driver on the news
