Clock repairs Essex

Friend of mine has a reasonably old clock that he thinks has been over wound and wants to get repaired, however does not want to go to your average high street spotty faced "jeweller", would rather find someone that actually knows what they are doing and not just take the money and send it off to someone else and charge a huge handling fee for the privilege. Don’t think the clock has any particular value other then sentimental. Anyone know of a decent honest clock maker/repairer around the Havering, Essex area.
