What a great day Sunday was - Big Breakfast and thanks to all who set up the day.

We filmed a a fantstic run up from stamford bridge and our Supersports were joined by a Andys Caterham Fireblade and a Noble. All chasing the 993 on which the camera was mounted. SOme footage north of Helmsley too.

Roll on the next one smile

There are far too many owners finding my favourite road!

Its a cracker with some great crests and testing bends.

Nice video
Recognised the approach to the Revaulx Abbey turn off above Helmsley

Hi G

It's a cracker isn't it. Too busy at the weekend. Going to get the kit on in the spring and do some midweek runs.

The last couple of miles to Malton with the Fireblade joining us was a hoot. We were shifting.

The cars are out this weekend so no playing for me.

Next PH run it would be fun to make a film.

Cheers

Scott.

Its a great bit of road that, I love it up there. I missed the meet this time as I wan in London but last time I had a great 5am hoon up there.

Scott your cars look great - Its a long time since I last drove a Caterham (when I was 17!) but I'm not 25 till next Summer. Would make a good birthday present for the weekend I reckon....

Its a good bit of kit you have there too - good steady picture unlike lots of the stuff you see on youtube.

Would be great to get a bunch of footage of loads of motors on a PH morning run to splice together. Well volunteered... biggrin

Can't even see the video clip as YouTube is blocked over here, along with FaceBook.

The biggest nation on earth and they're worried about people watching a few movies and chatting to each other rolleyes

Snotrag - I took out the yellow SS a coupe of weekends back and I am in the same position as you - only 24. The insurance company very kindly made an exception, with a slightly higher excess than usual but it meant I didn't have to wait till next July! I can only recommend taking the car out for a blast, maybe if you do it in the new year I'll hire the other one out and we could both go for a blast! Do you still live in Sheffield??
A small write up here from my long weekend: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Blimey, that's a big, very pleasant surprise! I'd always thought that those things were set in diamnd encrusted heat treated granite!

Unfortunately Im not in Sheffield any mire, 40 minutes up the m1. Gonna have a read of your thread though see how you got on.

Scott I'm very, very intrigued to see what you have to say on this matter!

Yup next time we get together, happy to do a film though I've just started with this stuff.

I'm going to get another camera mount so we can run a couple of cameras. To be honest, I don't think it's the kit that helped the film. I think it was more to do with Ian's 993 which just looks so planted.

I've just flogged my E46 M3 to buy the Gulf Supersport car and got an R32MkIV instead and we'll see if that's any good to shoot from. Milltek non res sounds nice but all you get us wind noise outside the car. Some of the shots low down with the sucion mount are good fun.

I was crap&ing myself that the camera was going to come off Ian's car - Massa-esque incident avoided however and more importantly Ian's car not scratched!
