Dimensions question - one for the Architects
Discussion
when setting out the dimensions for a new build, do you use a table to calculate exact brick/block/tile course distances for length, breadth and height for the walls and roof, or is it a case of the bricklayer / roofer having to fit appropriate courses to suit the dims off the drawings
Appreciate any help

Bricks? yes 100%Appreciate any help
Blocks? sometimes if facework internally, block and brick usually co-ordinate externally.
Wall Tiles? Unlikely, we work from the outside of a building inwards (usually)
Roof tiles? They are set with a min/max gauge by the manufacturer....depends on what pitch/rise you have, trust the roofer on that one and check afterwards.
