The first International Historic Motorsport Show, to be held at Stoneleigh Park Exhibition and Conference Centre, situated between Coventry and Leamington Spa, i.e. virtually in the centre of the country.

We are convinced that there is a need for a new show which fully represents the rapid expansion of Historic Motorsport, especially in the fields of racing and classic rallying. To date we have identified over 60 race, rally or series organisers, nearly all operating internationally, plus hundreds of restoration and competition preparation specialists and even more supporting trade companies. It is intended that these groups will form the heart of the show, thus allowing competitors, potential competitors and the industry itself to have their own showcase event and to interact in a relaxed atmosphere before the main season.

The show will be held on riday, Saturday and Sunday, 20/21/22 February first day set aside for Trade, Industry and Competitors only. It is essential that this show takes place in the winter, because this is the only time when the organisers and the car preparation experts are not under pressure, as they are during the season.

Stoneleigh Park is an ideal place for the first show as it provides multiple venues for the various activities taking place during the 3 days of the Event. It has three main exhibition halls, totalling 10,000 square metres and a further 6,000 square metres of covered space for private competition car sales. There is also is a Conference Centre, which will be used for Motorsport ‘Workshops’, plus a separate facility for private business meetings, to be hosted by the MIA. Adjoining the Conference Centre is The Warwick Hall and The Stareton Hall, which we will use for a historic vehicle auction (by H. and H. Classic Auctions) on Saturday, plus a cocktail party for exhibitors on Friday Night (6.00 - 8.00). Part of the Stonleigh Park site will also be cordoned of to allow the running of a Live Rally Stage on Saturday and Sunday. This is being organised by The HRCR and will involve ex Works Cars and drivers as well as club competitors.

Additionally on Saturday Night there will be the Historic Motorsports Awards and Charity Dinner at Chesford Grange Hotel (1 mile from Stoneleigh). Stuart Turner has agreed to speak at this dinner and Simon Hope of H. and H. Auctions will organise a charity auction. For the latest News and updates on the event please download the pdf Newsletter.

Our overall aim is to make this event the showcase for The Historic Motorsport Industry and bring it together for the first time, so that the industry can appreciate what has been achieved over the last twenty years.
