Diane Abbott being rascist on BBC this morning...
Discussion
Why is she allowed to say rascist things and us 'non-coloured' people aren't?
Many of her statements were bith rascist and highly condesending on BBC's breakfast show this morning. The discussion was on the issue of the BNP on tonights question time and she made many generalisations and statements based on ethnicity that any 'white' person would have been censored for. Why is she allowed to do this?
She seems to think that only blacks and asians and muslims can be offended by Nick Griffin being on Question time, and that us white people just cant see why.
Is this because she is.....

For those that never saw it, what did she say? Quote it, then you are not a racist.
I cant quote it at is was on the television, not in print. The general jist of it though was that Nick Griffin shouldnt be allowed on Question Time because coloured people, muslims and asians would be highly offended and that the majority of white people dont get this because we wouldnt understand.
She certainly shouldnt be telling me what I think or feel based on my ethnicity.
btw, not a BNP supporter, I think Nick Griffin is a tool of the highest order. Should he be allowed on Question Time? Well they usually invite a comidian on every week so why not?

with comments like that she defines terminally thick
Don't know about you lot, but I bet Nick is chomping at the bit here.... I've watched QT maybe 4 times in the past year....but I'm going to make sure I catch thisone, as I guess many will out of curiosity and the hope he gets ripped to shreds...either way awareness of his 'party' will increase...
Overall I think the Beeb have done the right thing though...

I'll be interested to see how the BBC loads the studio audiance.
They usually have a disproportionate number of 'noisy supporters' in the crowd when they have someone on with more 'radical views', so as to generate a lively amount of crowd interaction. So will they be loading the audiance with a certain number of vocal BNP supporters?

I didn't think that was quite what she was saying. She said that appearing on Question Time will make people think that the BNP are an accepted part of mainstream British politics and that would worry a lot of black/asian/jewish people.
