given injected alky I'm assuming strip, in which case definitely H-Beam, or consider ally rods?

depending on your motor spec, ali rods may not be ness. Plenty of people running steel rods in naturally aspirated motors up to 1000bhp

Ali rods are better at everything than steel items, crank cushioning, lower harmonics, lighter rotating masses, crack and failure resitance .... but you must change them every 50-70 runs when all that compression and tension wear-hardens the material. That's a lot of work and not cheap, hence steel rods are favourites for most applications.
