Protesters storme the BBC over Nick Griifin
Discussion
I was particularly amused by the footage of the harpy being dragged out of the foyer of Television Centre, squawking about shame or something...
Pot, this is Kettle; colour sit-rep required.
An irony that has obviously passed by the crusties crowding around outside is that the enormous amount of extra media coverage caused by the demonstration has given the BNP a whole lot more publicity than the appearance on QT ever would have. The likely converts to the BNP(thickies mainly) generally don't watch QT, and this appearance would not have raised so much as a blip on their radar; the mass protest and fuss has been heavily covered by the redtop chipwrappers and the rest of the MSM, which the thickies do occasionally pay attention to.
The reporters reporting from outside were practically milming their pants at the spectacle; there isn't a hole deep enough to house these 'meedja' cretins. The cynic in me is sad at this; the BBC have made news by allowing the BNP on QT; schizophrenically, the BBC then report on this; crusties riot outside, which is also reported on by the BBC. If I was a conspiracy nut, I would say they have done it deliberately...

The justice secretary said when anybody put a specific quotation to Mr Griffin he tried to "wriggle out of it".
But isn't that what every politician does when faced with unpleasant questions?http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/832115...
There is some huge hypocracy going on there from other politicians and others there. The BNP is a recognised political party with some very good and some very bad policy, no different to any other political group, so why are they attacked in such a way, fear of a potential viable threat?
Not saying that I support BNP here, but its interesting how they are treated by comparison.

As it was, the public, the politicians, and Bonnie Greer, were all dumber than Nick Griffin.
I swear the only person I saw tonight with any brain at all was Dimbleby, and he can't ask the damn questions, only read out other peoples! How many people must there have been?
I think it's called the hypocrisy of persecution, and boy did Nick do well. The only way he could have done better would be if they had stood him in the corner with a dunce's hat on. The BBC had the sense not to do that.
I think the only chance Labour has is to ban him from being on TV. Jack Straw is the best that Labour have, and he wasn't it. He tried, I accept. Personally, of anyone on that panel, I'm standing by Nick Griffin even though I don't like him, or what he thinks.
If nothing else, Nick Griffin is the only politician I can remember who is straight enough to say "I don't know". For all you sensitive lefties out there, the correct next question is not laughter or booing. The correct next question is "How can we help you work it out?".
How about that?
If you want you can tell me how I'm wrong and everything, but in the end it's not my role in life to ask those questions. The only reason I can say that, is as a result of my own experience of Labour, and the way the middle and upper classes have treated me. As a result of these things I took a post in the heart of the civil service. I was optimistic, but in the end saw what the politicians are doing. It pretty nearly makes me want to vomit. Needless to say I left them to it, but my last hope of any career was crashed and burning.
I'll take my chances thanks. You can fight it out with the BNP if you want.
No matter what you think of me, it's perhaps worth thinking about that mentality.
Adios. (but I hope it doesn't end this way)

Yep I'd say the protestors were worse, now it’s the BNP, who would be next UKIP / Eurosceptics, anybody disagreeing with climate change........................... it’s a damn slippery slope and the protestors along with their alleged labour paymasters are determined to push us all down it.
