Looks like my Ram SRT-10 has spun a couple of shells due to low oil. Anyone know if its possible to get the crankshaft reground and fit oversize shells? Oil was not that low and I cant emphasize it enough that you should keep a very close check on your oil levels or you'll find out the hard way like I did!

Ouch! Yes you can get quite a few oversize choices, can you still see any colours (id markings) on your current ones? Also what year or where is your crank pick up located? (the early cranks are different) on the rod bearings there were no larger rod bearings. From memory the cranks were about $2k, by the time you add up regrind and nitride...costs can get close. Email me through link here if I can be of further help.

Zero oil pressure (and was ignored, didn't get that far):

Oh dear, that looks nasty!!!! Mine is a 2005 Ram and I can still read the size on mine. I am going to have to change the rod bearings though and I think that's where I am going to have trouble from what you say! Maybe best to get a new crank and start again. Thanks for your help
