What is funny about the turkey jumping a log?

I do not find this funny at all. My boyfriend asked me if I wanted to find out what happened when a turkey jumped a log, I said yes and he pulled my hair then they all started laughing. What is funny about that? That has nothing to do with a turkey or a log. I asked if maybe while a turkey is jumping over a log he pulls a feather or something. Please give me some in-site on this so maybe I could also find the humor in it.

It's an old "joke". What he's done beforehand is stick his first finger and thumb up his bum. He will have then used those fingers to pull your hair. You now have hair that smells of bottom.
