Basically any Seiko with 'Spring Drive' written on it will be bloody expensive. I absolutely LOVE the watch you posted (the Spring Drive chrono) but it's actually a bit big (43mm+ IIRC) and is too much for my wrists... and at that price it's got to be right.

I will have a Spring Drive in my collection at some point though. Marvellous mechanism.

Seiko make similarly styled chronographs using their tried and tested quartz movements at 100th of the price so if it's the style and function you're looking for, no problem there as the above examples show.

The Seiko Spring Drive is something special though, I'm not sure I'd wear one as an 'everyday'...

I have a couple of Seiko Cronograph from the eighties, which are great watches. I currently wear a Cartier Roadster on a daily basis, just fancied a change. However 4.5k is too much at the moment (much too much smile)
I will check out some others.

About half a million yen for 'Spring Drive' in the cataloge Seiya sent me. Landmaster looks, er, chunky.
