Political correctness again

I know a lot has been said on here about political correctness but i've just heard something that really made me think.
Being told we have to be politically correct is basically telling us that we're institutionally racist. That in turn causes defensive separation.
Will this stupid culture ever end?

Agreed - by making a point of being equal or politically correct, is itself making a point that someone/something is different from you/normal (whatever that is).

People are different. Religions are different. etc etc. Let's stop pussy footing around and just accept it!

Things are only politically incorrect because certain people say they are. All it takes is one person/minority to not like something and it's wrong.

Do you honestly not see how obviously invalid your point is? The whole point of polictical correctness is an awareness of the change in language. If you refuse to adapt your language to the ever changing political and cultural landscape, the only ones who will be "casting words in stone" will be yourselves.
