A friend and I are both keen on the idea of trying out one of these unlicensed 'restaurant in our living room' type places but have so far struggled to track one down.

I appreciate that due to their slightly clandestine nature I'm not likely to find a full page advert in the local paper, but does anybody know of any in the Birmingham area and surrounding towns & cities that they would be willing to share the details of?

PMs would I should imagine be the most appropriate means of communicating such knowledge...

If anyone has any experience of such a place I'd be interested in hearing it.

Hear of through word of mouth or does this just take me to Cuddles or similar?! I can't imagine my friend being too impressed by a den of iniquity!
