That's a line from "Ice Ice Baby" and the 5.0 he was talking about was a Ford Mustang.

(it was a popular song and I was 12, I've since learnt the error of my ways!)

Naah its supposed to be a Mustang 5.0 I think.

How about Highway Star by Deep Purple? It doesn't mention what kind of car it is but it does describe it pretty well.
